8:28 AM 7 MORE DAYS
7 MORE DAYS 7 MORE DAYS 7 MORE DAYS 7 MORE DAYS I know that all of your can play your concert pieces already but please.... yes, it is important wether you guys are ready or not to go on stage, it matters but your dynamics is more important. IF you want the audiences to have a good impression of the band do something to whatever you are doing. Ask yourself if it's already enough and whether you guys are all prepared? Junior band: Ms Chang said you all did improved. Yes, you did. But look at your attitude. I don't wish to say it here but you know what you are doing. If you think breathing exercises is for you to tie your shoelaces when you bend 90 degrees down then, think again. Don't make everyone wait for you. 7 more days to concert. You guys don't have all the time in the world, stop wasting time. This applies to the seniors as well. Senior band: I see improvements. But you still have to work on your dynamics. You all can already play but please, now that Ms Chang said you guys can play both of the pieces already.... don't deprove but keep moving and get better. We all HAVE TO and MUST improve. In these last few days before concert. Remember to watch the conductor because instructions will all be given by them. And your scores are not there for you to LOOK at it everytime. It's only for reference. Please do your best. Don't be scared of screwing up, even professionals screw up. But the main point is wether you guys have practice hard enough for this concert. We can't afford to dissapoint them anymore but prove to them what Hai Sing Band is capable of. REMINDERS 1) Bring concert tickets money by Thursday and pass to yor SL. 2) Sec. ones, for those who HAVE NOT given your uniform money to Jih Howe or Shi Yun by this Thursday. 3) SLs please photocopy both sides of your scores. The student conductors will be checking them. 4) Make sure you all have the scores inside your files. 5) Band practice is from 3.30pm sharp to 6.30pm this Thursday. Please be in the band room by latest 3.25pm. Pupils who come at 3.30pm or later, your attendance will be marked as z e r o. Thanks and good luck to all for the upcoming concert!
