Friday's practice was good! I'm happy that almost half the senior band came to practice the two concert pieces! Not able to book the MPRs and to combine together the pieces at the canteen over and over again without a conductor, with people watching and the drink stall auntie rewarding us for our hardwork really made me so proud of you all! Keep it up guys! There are still room for improvements, don't give up. We should, we must, we can, we will!

And Junior band, you guys are around there already. Trombone and Euphonium, please remember to practice your Midnight Rock! Ms Loh says if the trombone and euphonium can't produce a good sound for the song, we will not play Midnight Rock! So please, practice! There are still room for improvements for Hey Jude. Please remember the rythm of the song! If your friends in your section doesn't know how to play, please help them. However, you guys still need to work on your Gently touch the sky! You should all know it didn't sound good.

I really hope whatever we(Junhong, Jih Howe, Shi Shuan, Syafiq and me) told you the other day will motivate all of you to sound better!

Less than 17 days to concert, do not give up! With the right attitude, I'm sure we all can sound better.

And for the tickets for concert, please don't say you can't sell 'em. You don't only have to sell it to your family members, it can be someone else, your friends, band mates from other schools, etcs. Please remember to put the money inside an envelope. Pass the money to your respective section leader once band resumes! If you need more tickets, you can approach:

for Sec. Twos- Jolene or Shi Shuan
for Sec. Threes- Priscilla or Cheryl

We will help you get the tickets from the teacher-in-charge! Or you can ask any of the teachers-in-charge yourself!

I hope to see all of you when band practice resumes. Meanwhile, remember to study hard for your upcoming common test!

See you all on next Friday for band! It's from 1.15pm to 5.15pm! Please do not waste your time in band already, we don't have a lot of time already. Contiunue working hard, and make your efforts worthwhile!
